Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.

• Remove any loose or flaking material
• Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly

Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

• Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
• Johnstone's Trade Jonmat Premium Contract Matt paint can be applied by brush, roller or sprayer
• Sealing new or bare surfaces: Thin up to 1.5 parts clean water to 10 parts Johnstone's Trade Jonmat Premium Contract Matt paint. Spray at 2500 PSI / 172 bar with a 517 tip
• Using Airless spray: Un-thinned: Spray at 3000 PSI / 207 bar with a 517 tip. Thinned: 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint Spray at 2500 PSI / 172 bar with a 517 tip
• Ensure maximum ventilation during application and drying

Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin

Aftercare & Storage

Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.

After use firmly secure the lid and store in a secure upright position.
